Kevin Minton aka Kay M is from Rahway, New Jersey. At the age of four, his family noticed his little riddles that would rhyme which turned him into a lyrical sensation growing up. In 2009, Kay M became BET's First Ever 106 & Park Freestyle Friday Grand Champion. He has worked with Grammy award winning producers Deezle and Bangladesh whom worked on Lil Wayne Carter 3 and 4 album, opened up for Talib Kweli at London's o2 Arena, and traveled through North America on the Jay Z Blueprint 3 Tour for 2 months. Because of his success, Kay M was able to headline his own 3 month tour in the United Kingdom in 2010. The last and most dominant competition was the World MC Challenge in Paris, France where Kay M became the first USA representative to be awarded "World MC Challenge Championship". Now with the itch of competing behind him, Kay M is finally settling into his artistry the right way by releasing his first full length project in October 2012. The first single to be released off ! of that project is titled: "When The Money Falls" In preparation for his LP, the "Been Winning Part 1 and Part 2" promo tapes were released via Kay M's twitter along with a promo tour scheduled to Italy, Switzerland, and Sweden for late spring 2012.
